Carework Conversations: Authors and Advocates

The Carework Network is hosting a new book talk series called “Carework Conversations: Authors and Advocates.” Our first session is Grandmothering While Black: A Twenty-First-Century Story of Love, Coercion, and Survival, by LaShawnDa L. Pittman, March 18 at 3:30 EST. Dr. Pittman (Associate Professor of American Ethnic Studies) will introduce the book and then will receive questions and comments from three invited speakers: Barb Taylor (Community Advocate), Fayana Richards (Senior Health Equity Consultant), and Lynn Ng Yu Ling (PhD Candidate in Political Science).
