The Care Network in Mexico/ Red de Cuidados en México, a network of academics, activists and full-time unpaid caregivers, dedicated to evidence-based advocacy to push for public care policies in Mexico and Latin America, is hosting a listening session for the Escucha con Cuidado (Listen Carefully) project. This community radio project has been brought together, lead, and produced by unpaid care workers. It is one part of the meaningful conversations and actions that the pandemic has brought about. At a time when household confinement has become a reality for more people and when social interactions have been forced to evolve, it is essential that unpaid care workers find more space for collective mobilization and political struggles.
